- woodman: @vitoB $BAX $MDT - The likes of $DVA $BAX $MDT were all slammed by the continuing knee-jerk reaction and pumpers pumping with respect to lofty but uncertain/premature claims that Ozempic/GLP-1 agonists will be the panacea for CKD patients on dialysis (allowing them to get off dialysis). To me, it all seems based on premature data/investigation and some speculation that it will significantly impact patients and therefore impact the CKD/dialysis companies. It's part of the Ozempic et al. euphoria, but it remains to be seen what comes of all this.

- Henry: @Forexpro $BAX So they took a revenue neutral transaction and claimed it was a profit? It doesn't sound as bad as falsifying sales. The stock is rebounding more than I would have thought. The 10Q is delayed indefinitely. I owned a stock, way it $BWLD ? that took a year to put out their delayed earnings. In 2018 $BAX had $1.6 bil of income, and $9mil of hedging gains. There real business is medical, not currency and I don't see people getting healthier. I would guess they would be a lower target on the list of a Single Payer health system.

- steve71: @rtomczak Baxter splits into two companies in mid-2015. One is pharma and the other is medical products. Split is a tax free distribution of biopharma shares to the $BAX holders. Revenue growth is 16%. Using PE of 16x for medical, and 18x for pharma, eventual sum of the parts valuation is 90. Of course, that looks a bit optimistic today!
