- joelsg1: @debeers $TSLA S is highest priced car with X, Plaid even more, But take my son's example: Recently took delivery of Y and could resell today for a $20k gain, saves at least $500+ per month on gas/ins., bought back his Infiniti Q50 lease and just sold that to $CARG for more than total lease cost over 3 years which he used to pay 1/2 of new Y, and it's way more fun. So, his actual all-in cost to operate probably less than a prius.

Given the continued forecasts of higher used car prices, people will be searching for deals and they are a user friendly resource. I have been a user and now an investor. Above all MAs, I’ve set my stop at the 20DMA.

- phgruver: I wasn't able to trade the open with @Dan, because of "technical difficulties" at Fidelity, but I have been able to apply the principles he teaches to my trading. On Friday, $CARG tanked after reporting good earnings but weak guidance. At one point, it was down over 25%. Taking that as a bounce candidate, I bought some shares at $25.59. I held them 4 business days, of sold them today for $28,15. By my math, that's a 10% profit. Can I have another, please?

This week I was offered Cargurus $CARG and I'm tempted because although it's losing money, it's growing. Any thoughts on this or any sites you can point me to that have good info on IPO's?
- DAN: @efrain007 $CARG It's for suckers. You'd be buying the stock being sold by early investors with a business plan of buying early, hanging on until the IPO, and then dumping their shares on unsuspecting investors who have been invited to participate by their brokers under the auspices of having your best interests in mind. Just my opinion.
