- phgruver: @Justhanging48 $TNK $SCHW $GTLS $TH $CCS $NWBO $KHC $INMD $ORMP While I'm tempted to say that $KHC hasn't been a good investment since the merger of Kraft and Heinz in July 2015, but there was actually a period of 18 months, where it looked like it could work. Starting in June 2017, $KHC began a long slide, and it became apparent that all was not well in the C suite. In 2019 they were forced to slash their dividend by 36%, and the stock has wallowed between $20 and $40 ever since. At the current price, the dividend is 4.24%, which would seem attractive. Their last earnings report looked OK, but I still feel this one is a #VALUE_TRAP. Proceed with caution! (edit: got my digits reversed, sorry. 36%, not 63%)

- issues: This morning it seems that IBD said "Market in CORRECTION." Now they say, "Market in CONFIRMED UPTREND!" What a change in such a short period of time. Wow. - natural: $CCS a decent entry here near the 50dma. I say "decent" because all of my "decent" entries for the past 8 weeks have proven to be sh*t. $CCS is an IBD darling with just about the highest grades they award. Institutional support is very good.

I have never received a vaccine as an adult, as they are often made with mercury. I had mercury fillings removed for health reasons, so why would I want to be injected with a vaccine that might have mercury in it?

If that happens, new entries could be triggered again, thats the #set-up. $CGC, I was stalking their earnings this morning and that set-up paid off really well. I posted about that set-up last night. #Sector earnings can matter, earning surprises do matter and they can push-up many other names in the sector.

Check stocks like $MDC $MHO $GRBK $TMHC $CCS $LOW $TREX $TPX To new members: I am not saying "Buy these stocks!!!" I am pointing them out as stocks that are starting to set up and may begin to meet some members' buying criteria. This is a heavy market. - issues: @grinningcat_o3 Here are the IBD home builders (Industry group 67) $HOV (best) $LGIH $BZH $MHO $LEN $KBH $CHCI $PHM & $CCS. We currently hold LGIH BZH & CCS. Not buying any today - too high. We put in limit orders on most of these. also look at $BLD $BLDP $BLDR and lumber (Forgot the symbol - someone mentioned it on the Forum)
- issues: Homes have really skyrocketed. I like (and put in limit orders) on these: $HOV $CCS $LEN $MTH. We already own $LGIH and $BZH. One of my best trades was today with a limit order on $CABO at $1700. Snagged it and watched it go up 150 points in one day. Hurray! Limit orders work! Like fishing.

Should keep working before they report and my guess is, this stock would be even higher today, if the markets were up, the markets are a #drag on this stock also today. ......Looks like this could sure be a Strong-Buy set-up, for a continuation move before earnings, would be my guess. - Humboldt: Currently hold a position in $CCS . Had to entry's, even though my entry's could do some improvement, overall this has been quite profitable. However, its getting close to January's 2018 High and earning call in 4 days. I stay away from Earnings so I'll take my profit before that. I still don't know how uptrend stocks tend to behave as they reach a yearly Higher High so i'm tightening my stop. Any insights are more than welcome.

Watch for a move above ... - issues: From IBD: VanEck Vectors Semiconductor ETF ($SMH) was mostly flat, thanks to a strong move by Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM). Shares jumped 2.5% to 46.13, good for a breakout over a 44.98 buy point. TSM stock is the heaviest-weighted stock in SMH at 12.4%. Innovator IBD 50 ETF ($FFTY) was mostly unchanged, buoyed by strength in Globant ($GLOB) and $CDW (CDW), which showed gains of more than 1%. Other top gainers in the IBD 50 index of leading growth stocks included real estate investment trusts Innovative Industrial Properties (IIPR) and Store Capital (STOR). Stock Market Movers In other stock market news, homebuilders outperformed, led by LGI Homes ($LGIH) and Century Communities ($CCS). But KB Home ($KBH) fell 1% after reporting earnings late Wednesday.
