Does 99% institutional ownership mean that 99% of the common shares are owned by institutions? These stocks would assumably be less volatile; however, aren't they less likely to have big upward runs as well because of the high institutional ownership?

Recycled grease, i do not believe, will prove a slippery slope.LOL But i have to say, all the conference calls are weary making..LONG Looking for 44 cents average with 50 cents high and 39 cents low. There are 4 quarters of increasing insti ownership and an A+ accumulation rating with a composite rating over 90% The per share report was a couple of cents above expected and the rev was a tad below. What i am expecting is a drop of a couple per cent before the conference call at 6am my time tomorrow and a recovery thereafter. This one is a longtime money maker for me. LONG

- bullmoose: $BVN, $VGZ - $BVN is down testing the breakout level now, looking for support at the 20 and 50-day SMAs. This may be a good buy point. Keep an eye out for a bounce. I bought some $VGZ when it came up above the intraday triangle. Yesterday's low marks a great stop point. I also trimmed more $DAR and $FTR today. Plus, I just sold some of my $MRVL June 16 puts to lock in some nice profit. I screwed up a little yesterday by not trimming $SWN when it got rejected at the 44 level again. I trimmed a little today and will look to add if it bounces off the 50 again. Maybe it'll even bounce right here at the 20. I'm giving my holdings very short leashes in this market and locking in gains when I get them, even if they're small.

I also bought $DAR this morning. It had a nice gap-up breakout and held the breakout yesterday. It's forming a bull flag on lower volume.
The next few are stocks I already own but have added to or am adding to: $FTR broke above a bull flag yester ... - jackies: $ADY, $WOR, $BORN, $DAR, GMXR, $NQ, $CLF, $KH, $DYN, $CPE, $ATK, $WBC, $MTG, $TRI, $PBR, $IAG all up today when the market is down. I looked at some of the other gainers but those had hammer patterns, not a good sign. I got as far as $ADY and $WOR with looking at charts and am putting this up now wthout looking at all the charts since we've only got 12 minutes. I'll look at these after the market and see if any might be a good entry.

The stock is trading @ 13.58 as I'm writing this. They recycle and render animal byproducts and sell to chem and biofuel producers. I think #Cramer mentioned it a while back. Maybe someone with some experience with the stock can chime in.

- taznut98: VLO- did a quick search, found little. 1. they are in the process of shutting all units for planned turnaround maintenance at its Three Rivers, Texas, refinery started Wednesday. The work is expected to take approximately 24 days. 2. $DAR has a news release about joint venture between $DAR and $VLO for biodiesal plant. 3. #Options expiring, who would have guessed! 4. Estimated future Profit from crack spread may be widening. See Forbes, 7/13/09 article by Vahan Janjigian, p. 106. So now, I am kicking myself that I did not place it on my computerized watch list, since my mental note seems to have been erased from memory.

Market makers and traders know how to take stocks to their "obvious" break down levels and remove the weak hands(me) so they can take em higher. The one time I hang around and grit my teeth I will get pummelled. Just part of the game. My 2c.

If you look at a weekly chart, it just continues steady 45 degree incline regardless of what the rest of the market is doing. Follows the 20 week $MA pretty closely. Just wondering what you think makes this stock keep ticking? Usually has about a .60 move within each day, and a channel range of around $3. Carrie
