- Forexpro: Re: $EMN Good Morning, Friends, Our colleague JJT1 mentioned this last week, and it came up in one of my standard scans, the "Dan-Modified Minervini". Most of the tickers coming up are apparel companies or restaurant chains, and the bulk of those are far too extended to be of interest except for bear call spreads. $EMN, although it looks to me to be somewhat above an "ideal" entry (103, right at the 50-EMA, would be nice) doesn't appear to be ridiculously extended, and might be worth keeping an eye on. Option liquidity, according to TasdtyWorks, is mediocre (two stars). Earnings are coming up soon (Apr 26). Here's hoping that your weekend is off to a great start; all the best!

But the main point is that the sectors as a whole have been, and continue to be, doing well. So, it's really just a matter of picking one or more and letting them work for you. I suppose one might want to flip into and out of one or more as they reach their earnings or as they get too extended, picking up something else that isn't reporting or has already reported or has already pulled back and readying for the next swing up.. But, again, being in the sector is the key. The choices are many.

Stock takes a ~50% haircut on a contract pricing dispute with Eastman Chemical ($EMN) that, when boiled down, has everything to do with future revenue stream. I liked it at 20, but got stopped out. Liked it at 15, and got my money back. Now, I'm wondering if top management has taken the summer off for a DisneyWorld Vacation. Selling puts RHRN on $RYAM is very risky, but premium is attractive. Shorting $EMN looks like a better alternative, with the stock falling below the 200 DMA today.
