- Forexpro: Re: $MEOH Hi, Friends, This has been mentioned in the past by Bwcarnation1, and it appears to be benefiting from some speculation that it could be a potential takeover target. There is, reportedly, an activist investor involved, but I haven't seen any details in the course of a very cursory overview. Might be worth keeping half of an eye on, as it did hold above the 50-EMA during the recent stress test. Here's hoping that your day is going well; all the best!

$TUSK - ipo new all tim ... - JJT1: $MEOH $TRIP Couple stocks to watch. $MEOH not really a VS but after 3 days above upper BB then back to EMA, today up 5%, all three SMA 50, 100, 200 in same vincinity. $TRIP 3rd green candle 1st to 50 day SMA, second day bounce off 50 to 100 day, today bounce off 100 day to just above 200 day.

- debeers: MEOH-Like @Dan's dogs and Bubba the Tuxedo cat like $PETM, that affection paled compared to how much Bubba loved $MEOH (pronounced Meow!!). He went around the house constantly telling me he had done all the research and if he were not heavily rsearching right now (snoring!!) he would tell you so himself. When he was misdiagnosed with cancer, I sort of lost track of $MEOH as I was already grieving losing him. Long story short: the reports of his imminent demise were innacurate as his terminal tumors turned out to be benign and all he had was an overrative thyroid. I made a ton on $MEOH and completely lost track of it. But methanol is the feedstock of many products and the Canadians were just beginning to light China on fire at the time. On a huge down day, like Janet changing her mind, I'll be back. Bet on it.

I like $MEOH because I am addicted to growth with a cheap P/E but there are several good ones and several companies the $USA that can do in the chemical space that a ... - jackies: $MOV, $LAD ha! The only 2 companies that I found who have a direct beneficiary in their business when this occurs is $MEOH, which I don't like for fundamental reasons and $CE which is an end user of corn based ethanol that then gets converted to paint coatings,textiles, packging, and automotive. Polycyclohexylene directly participates. I woud expect these 2 $MEOH for methane and $CF for ethanol use to outperform as this dynamic plays out. In a tough past 12 months, $CF total return is 14%

- cmac: $MEOH taking a starter in this methanol producer. Nice vol sq on the daily. Sold off on the Egypt problems, where they have a plant. Clearing 29.35 resistance, and now above the 50sma. I've got it on a tight leash since I really don't like buying breakouts in this type of market.
- rmacgurn: Some of you have me a bit scared over this 10dma support, well i just reviewed 24 open positions and 7 have broken the 10 day line, 3 more broke a few days ago and just crossed back. If you are trend following is it really that important? To me $UDN and $UNG can't be traded on 10 day support alone. And many of my stops got jumped over last week, only to rebound the next day or the same day. Anyone trading $MEOH, has been a good perfromer last 14 days..
