- debeers: @Henry $CARS $AN $LAD -have no idea to what crowd you refer but when the price slips below the 21 day and fails to retake the 8 after a few days, i don't hold any stock and i brought $LAD to the forum years ago. That is the reason there is no $RH in my port or $LAD either. If they get their mojpo back, they merit a relook but, for example, after the huge pop, i set a higher than normal drop limit on $RH of 661 which i posted and when violated it was dropped. i hope for nothing but the best for Friedman but cannot revisit unless certain parameters met. Same discipline in $LAD once i was convinced that the stock went to prison and simply wasn't tardy to the party.

But I had a stop right where I figured I'd be wrong, and it was tight, so negligible damage done. I figured when I decided to take a chance, the chance of success was low, but so was the risk. But, whenever a chart isn't working, it's not sensible to fight it.

The company said the acquisitions are expected to generate $425 million in annualized revenue and bring its total expected annualized revenue acquired in 2021 to nearly $7 billion. It is targeting $50 billion in revenue and $50 of earnings per share as part of its previously announced five-year plan, it added.

- Pokersmith: Lithia Increases Share-Buyback Program After Greater-Than-Expected 3Q Cash Flows Lithia Motors Inc. ($LAD) is boosting its share-buyback authorization by $750 million after third-quarter earnings generated greater-than-expected cash flows. The company said the increase takes total funds available for repurchases to about $885 million and comes as its Driveway Finance arm completed its inaugural issuance of securities backed by its originated auto loan portfolio, raising $344 million of additional capital to fund the growth of its auto loan portfolio and network development. Driveway Finance originations now account for about 5% of the company's overall business and is expected to grow to 15% in the coming years, Lithia said.
