- DAN: @Cjauger $MGNI That's really your choice, Cjauger. It's irresponsible for me to give you more advice on this. Depends on what you are willing to risk. With that said, yes, 2.5% would be a small position. But the stop placement defines how much $ risk that is.
- champ: @Cjauger $MGNI $TTD $PUBM $TRMR ....when looking at a Chart....there are also other considerations to be thinking....and that is their Business Summary and financials.....and being late or early on the trade....and going in late, might point to a smaller entry size...and being on time on $TTD, might be going in with a better size position.....

- DAN: @Cjauger $MGNI Agreed. It's been a tough year. The market is looking better these days, but I think it's important to just start dipping a toe back in the water and not take on too much risk until you feel better about things.

But our nature is to be stubborn and continue doing what worked so well before. In spite of you telling us every day in the Strategy session. Your guidance plus several beatings = learning. This trade is looking good today, I added more as it broke HOD. Stop on new shares at $11.39. Thank you for pointing this stock out.

DAN: ...
$MGNI -- This was an aggressive buy yesterday. Working well and the buyers are coming. After a 100% jump in two days, the stock is up another 8% from that high. This is what really strong stocks look like.
$CRWD -- This was a really good bounce ... - DAN: $MGNI - Breaking through $12 bucks. This stock jumped 100% in just two trading days after an 11/9 bottom. Pulled back from $12 to $10...and now pushing back through $12. This is a pretty powerful move and you'd need to be pretty aggressive trader to buy some here. Just pointing it out. I have a small position with a hard stop at 10.90. (Not a recommendation...just pointing it out)

- joelsg1: $MGNI Beat and flat guide moves stock up 16% this am. Had no cushion and sold entire small pos. yesterday for small profit, missing this move. Bucked the sell the earnings trend. Lesson learned: if confident in stock/business prospects, just sell 1/2 w/o cushion pre earnings. Now, needs to settle down, which it probably will, waiting at least 3 days to reenter.
