Looking at the chart, I noticed that the 6/16 candle was another tall green candle on about 2x volume, but less than the almost 4x volume from 2 days prior. Afterwards price dropped then recovered to print a double top before falling below the 50dMA until 9/12. We are now seeing its recovery above the previous high. Despite the damage to your crystalline orb, any suggestions about how to trade this setup? Once again thanks for all you do.

I was already in QBTS (accumulated when it was basing under the 50d and then as it moved through) and $RGTI (bought as it moved off the 50d). So, I've got a mini ETF in the Quantum Computing space now. I don't like to own more than two at one time, but these additional two - ARQQ and QUBT were/are in compelling spots, so I added them.

- woodman: Quantum Computing stocks update: $IONQ (np) has been a rocket, but obviously extended. I missed the boat on that one, unfortunately. $BTQQF (np) trying to move above the 50d. $RGTI (long) holding up well after moving out of consolidation. It will test its ath soon by the looks of things. Thin trader $QTUM (np) has been very nice. $QUBT (np currently) is interesting here as it tries to move above the 50d. $QBTS (long) moved above the 50 on Friday and is holding the move for now. $ARQQ hitting the overhead 50d now. $IBM is trying to reverse its pullback since it started in late July, and no battling the overhead 50d. $QMCO (np) has been the clear under-performer in the group.

IonQ (IonQ), the most acquisitive company among quantum computing stocks, on Friday touted its strategy at an analyst day. IonQ stock surged on the news. During its acquisition spree, IonQ has expanded from quantum compute into building quantum key distribution (QKD) networks, eyeing U.S. government business and cybersecurity. In the June quarter, IonQ closed acquisitions of Lightsynq and Capella and announced the purchase of Oxford Ionics for over $1 billion. In other deals, IonQ purchased ID Quantique and Qubitekk.

- woodman: Quantum Computing update - not too much to say with these on the whole, except that they continue to consoldidate. $RGTI (in which I have a position) is doing so while also holding its rising 50d support, which is a better look than others in the sector. $IONQ (np) sideways consolidation. $QBTS (small position) has been in sideways consolidation, and within that, it has been consolidating just under the 50d support. $QUBT (np) consolidating under the 50d as well.

They may well hold, but be careful. $BTQQF doing a little better at holding the 50d. $RGTI in some consolidation above the 50d, holding the 20d area.

Final Thoughts: Eins ... - woodman: @StockMarketMentor $IONQ $RGTI $QUBT $QBTS - Folks can look at my Quantum Computing stock watchlist I've been posting about for some time. $ARQQ $IBM and $BTQQF are also in the space (as is ugly $QMCO). As I've mentioned, I've been trading around various names in the space based on the charts. I am currently in $QBTS (somewhat messy consolidation but holding up, and I think it goes higher from here) and $IONQ (testing bottom of wedge and 50d). No position in ARQQ, but it's hovering around the 50d after falling through the 21dEMA which was a trend break. However, I'm watching it here.

- woodman: Quantum Computing - $QBTS a little stall/pullback after hitting the 5/23/25 resistance/high level area, after briefly making an ath above that level last week. I still have a position. $ARQQ is trying to hold on but falling through the 21dEMA. Looks like it could continue to leak downward toward the rising 50d, but it's battling. I have a small position. $QUBT (np) is on the 50d now. $IONQ is at the bottom of a wedge. I still have a position. $BTQQF (np) continues to leak down toward its rising 50d following its huge move in late June-early July. $RGTI (np) flaggish with wide BBs.

- woodman: Quantum Computing stocks are volatile, but can make you some good money. $QBTS (long) out of that wedge and $BTQQF (np) off the 50d are the high flyers of the day. $IONQ (np; 8/6 amc earnings) is in a wedge now and could be a good one soon. $ARQQ (long) working along the 21dEMA. $QUBT (np) fell out of a wedge but the 50d is not far below - keep it on the radar.

I buy the pullbacks (zags down) and sell the rips when they seem to temporarily pitter out (zigs up). Yesterday, as posted, I sold most of my $QUBT and bought ARQQ, which is popping this morning. I do still have some $QBTS as well.
- woodman: $QUBT $ARQQ - I sold most of my healthy $QUBT position this morning to pocket profits. Still holding a few forget-me-not shares. I bought back some $ARQQ here along the 21dEMA. It's one I've traded in and out of. The BBs are still wide and coming in, so it may need to do some more work. The 21dEMA area has to hold for me to stay aboard.

- woodman: Back from a shorter-than-desired stay at the Jersey shore. The weather turned bad, but glad to see the Market is still pumping away. Looking at the Quantum Computing stocks. As I've mentioned, these stocks (see my posts for the watchlist of these) take their turns running up and resting. Try to get them when they rest. $BTQQF is going gangbusters. Too late to buy. Wait for the rest. One I mentioned a few days ago is $QUBT - that it was hanging around support at the 21dEMA. I did a buy-back of this one on 6/23 when it reached back down to the 21dEM and bounced. I added more today. Still looks good here, IMO.
- woodman: $BTQQF $QUBT - $IONQ squeeze. Keep an eye on this. I may buy a starter. $RGTI is not one of my favorites of the group, but it looks like it's seting up as it gets into squeeze territory along the 50d. Volume has been low as it consolidates. Even though it's not one of my favs, it could be gearing up for a move.
- joelsg1: @woodman $BTQQF $QUBT Don't think it's too late on $BTQQF. Next catalyst is Nasdaq listing, which they applied for in Feb. The listing requirements are secret, but from what I can discern generally needs a close above $4 for 5 consecutive days. This if it holds would be Day 2 so maybe a 4th of July gift. Also, institutions generally stay away below $5.
