The description of the company is pretty interesting: Lightbridge Corporation is a nuclear fuel technology company. The Company is focused on developing Lightbridge Fuel, which is a nuclear fuel technology to improve the economics, safety and proliferation resistance of nuclear fuel in existing and new nuclear reactors, large and small, with a meaningful impact on addressing climate change, and air pollution. Its target market segments include water-cooled commercial power reactors, such as pressurized water reactors (PWRs), water-water energetic reactors (VVERs), boiling-water reactors (BWRs) and other heavy water reactors. The Company is also focusing on the small modular reactors (SMRs) that can benefit from its fuel with improved economics and load following when included on an electric grid with renewables. The Company's subsidiaries include Lightbridge International Holding LLC and Thorium Power Inc.
