  • StockMarketMentor: Adding $SOFI to the ATI List Seemed pretty silly NOT to add SoFi Tech ($SOFI) to the ATI List after I spent about 15 minutes in today's Training Session discussing the chart and the underlying dynamics of the shakeout. (I strongly suggest that you spend the time watching today's Training Session where I discuss this in great detail). Because the stock is up 9.4% today, I'm suggesting a pretty tight stop. I don't want to risk riding the stock all the way down in the event that the buying does not persist into the close. SOFI is tyring to move out of consolidation and nearing its ath attained in the beginning of 2021 shortly after coming on board in late 2020.   • woodman: @Anyes - I've been long $SOFI from lower and I still am long. It broke out of sideways consolidation (within its uptrend) to make an all time high Monday. Now it is back-filling as it pulls back to test the breakout level (the 7/29 intraday high of $25.11 where it was rejected). Watch for what we sometimes colloquially call "phase 3" - the move back up and move to higher prices. Phase one is the breakout, Phase 2 is the pullback to test the breakout level, Phase 3 is the move back up and to higher prices. Also, the principle of prior resistance, once broken, becomes new support. Old resistance was that 7/29 intraday high. The theory now is that this level will now offer new support. Finally, watch the 8dEMA. It's a great short term metric/MA. We want to see it hold that moving average.
  • ReneeH: @PhilHarmonic agree 100%. I was just reporting news analysis that validates the energy/uranium miners a few of us have been watching. Always think risk first as you consider trading these ideas. imo $SOFI is a powerful leader potentially but not a safe entry here.

On the weekly, it has completed a long duration cup back from around when it first started trading (all time high attained in 2021 - $28.26). So, now it needs a little push to get through this short term resistance area (recent high) and a continued push to get an all time high.
