- kenb: $TSLA $HTZ Hertz to unload 20,000 EVs and replace with gas-powered vehicles. Not good news for the EV space, since it will tend to flood the market with additional supply.
- woodman: @kenb $TSLA $HTZ - Apparently, some of have reliability issues and have been driven hard, but the prices on some of them - if you can get them, particularly if still with warranty - are nice. Could probably flip them if you don't want to be an owner.
- curtis: @kenb $TSLA $HTZ Cathy Wood on CNBC was discounting this. Saying people needed to learn how to use a EV, then they will buy one. Perhaps people don't want to do that on an out of town rental, where they don't have many charging stations available. Who knew? $HTZ may go under 8 and would be worth looking at, with this damage.

many might ramp in 2023 but that is a year away. Also, there is a real push to make it as tough as possible to own a gas powered car. $HTZ will probably be ok but i want to hold a larger amount of cash than i usually do just to be prudent. - debeers: @joelsg1 $TSLA -Decided to flck in the $HTZ and play it indirectly: they just ordered 100,000 Teslas. By the way, there are 15,000 invitees to the Texas facility opening and some of the residents nearby were complaining about the noise. The major is a plain speaking guy and he told them to shut the F up. The jobs would give folks salaries that they had never seen before.

Missed the pop to sell some more calls on $F but it looks to be coming back within the BBs so I may just close the short calls for a nice gain and reload later.

It will have a clean balance sheet with minimal debt (excluding asset backed securities) after the payoff of high rate secured stock."

Will look to enter some Leaps once it shows some sign of stabilization. $HIVE cut to a placeholder. Same with $HTZ. Added to $ZIM with some January $55s. Just a couple, toe in water for the next tranche as we are up nice over the last week.
