- imortalz: Taxes, guys all I can say is take your cost basis form to your favorite $CPA, it's much easier and depending on your status will cost you less that 1k. The stress loss alone is worth it. - gwsmith: $AMX, CRUS- I threw these two overboard early this week. $AMX is a great buisness model, but right #rhrn it is no a stock I want to own. $CRUS has a very uniques relationship to $AAPL, but it has been rolling out of the winner's circle too. I am Pyramiding so as these laggards went South I cut my losses. Having said that, now I am sure at least one of the two will come roaring back to life. But, I'll stick to my thesis neither stock was strong enough for me to remain comfortable holding it. I have a couple others that I am holding that are being watched very closely. - AMZII: @Dan/team - Telcom, what do you think of $AMX (America Movil)? It looks to be in a volatility expansion and recently has bounced off of the 200dma. It seems like in the past that the 50 dma has been support, but once it broke it, resistance. It has just broke it again to the upside last week. I've been long since it tagged the 200 dma and bounced and would appreciate any comments.
- AMZII: $AMX - Anyone looking at this one? Looks to be starting a volatility expansion. I'm long, but am a bit concerned about the "on balance volume". Aside from that I like it. It seems to be making higher lows, and higher highs after a pull back and bounce off of the 200 dma.

I'm interested in $VALE and $X but want to wait for a little bit more of a pullback. I very well may miss these, but want to hold off. I did start a position in $AMX and $COV today. They both seem to have good fundamentals and are at decent buy points. They are small positions, but I like'em!

razmataz: $NIHD and $AMX lating american mobile phone cos. $NIHD has bounced off of its breakout support level. $AMX is up against horizontal resistance which is also coinciding with 50dma. I've set an alert at 51.60 for $AMX and keeping an eye on $NIHD (which was stopped out)

neglected to mention that the 50 has run parallel with the descending resistance line for AMX. $AMX is currently trading within that gap. Also seeing a slight expansion of the upper BB - not reading anything into that, yet. - razmataz: @Bob- The original pop on 7/23 was from co. updating guidance. recent change in Mexico allows for portability of phone numbers (seen as a negative for $AMX - zero sum game suggests this a positive for $NIHD in Mexico). not a lot of resistance to 67 (thats going back to 07). MACD is flashing a sell but that is not unexpected in this type of a pattern, is it? decent strength into eod w a bounce off of recent short term support (post bounce). with today's small purchase i have just about a 1/3 pos. giving it plenty of room w a $48.05 stop (can't wait to read your post on stops!). raz

It had taken a hit end of april as a result of unexpected lower profits which on further research appeared to be because of increased infrasturcture build out (a long term good thing IMHO). $AKS - on the daily note how tight the BB's are getting. OBV, money flow, RSI, remain pretty good. Volume been good as well. The weekly shows very strong indicators. Don't know if the hook in the lower BB is meaningful. $MTL - continues to run, macd flashing a buy signal(?), better buy in point was 3/4 days ago. $NUE - also showing some strength today but could just be oversold bounce (stochastics) my 2 cents. RAZ long $AMX, $AKS, MTL. No pos $NUE
- plinioabreu: Hi @Bob, I been trading $AMX (America Movil) for a while buying on the low end of the channel (around $55) and selling a partial position at the top (around $66). On Friday it received an analyst downgrade on expectations of growth miss, and it went all the way to $55. Now, I bought some Jan 65 calls at great discount, to trade the potential bounce, at the closing of Friday with a stop around $54. My question is, does this trade make sense to you? - mike123167: Hi @Dan I entered my vote but for the Longer Term Portfolio I have not committed new capital. Have about 30% cash. Too high but haven't been able to get a pullback on a few stocks I like. In the trading portfolio I am quickly locking in gains, so said about 2/3 in the market. But currently ahead of a vacation like 30% Long. Locked in gains on $ICE and $TWM early yesterday. And added $AMX at middle BB at 63.30 and would like to sell it tomorrow around 65.50. $GILD added for 3 months out. Hopeful it will ride to 45 by November or sooner.

It pulled back to the middle BB yesterday and bounced off it as it has several times over the past 6 months.
