Also sold covered call to help with the cost basis. Sold April $17.50 calls for $1.25. If called away (by being above $17.50 on OpEx), the trade is 11% winner. Current adjusted cost basis is $15.76.

For example, fact from the YouTube presentation: 1 in 3 people in Hong Kong are HepB+. It ends in cirrhosis or liver cancer. This drug knocks out HepB in rats and chimps. Human trials just underway....

  • gtrguy: @chuckd - from a chart perspective, some are looking at the daily pattern as an $ABC correction, w/ A being the move down a couple weeks ago, $B the subsequent up move (ended yesterday), and now down again for wave C. If C=A, then we'll have a slightly lower low. Then the correction is over and the uptrend resumes. Remember, the year after a big up year is usually also positive, though less so.

Do you have a Plan $B if it starts to pull back? "Reasonable target" isn't the same as "guaranteed", and I personally hate giving profits back almost more than I hate taking losses on opening positions that don't work out. Both plans were good (luckily, as things turned out) but $B had a little more rush factor (whew !) ..... I think this is the top for a while, the SP-500 traced a 5 wave up series from 2012 June lows, the 5th and final wave ended a couple of days ago in an ending diagonal or wedge. The poke above the long term resistance line in the 5th and final wave is what @Elliot calls a throw over. Now the SP-500 needs to trace out a 3 wave A - $B - $C corrective pattern down, so expect lower prices from here.
