I am known as . a. long term bull trend trader, Rarely a. short since I began posting. more than a decade ago $SAM short last year was a first. Picked up speed this year The. change should have been very noticeable to all - woodman: @bRobert $XOP $SAM My long energy (oil and gas, coal), ag input stocks, mining stocks and shippers did well for me but I started not to be as successful as I had been due to a number of reasons, some including work and personal matters/interests that kept me from being able to trade well. When my success rate was falling, and my other matters/interests grew, I started trading less and less, until I essentially stopped. I have been enjoying time off (golfing, family time) but also work stuff. Most of all, selling all of my "longer term" stuff (distinguished from my trading account) that I sold fairly early in this downturn has been a key to my happiness/sanity.
