  • Bridget: @GaVaHokie $BETR That will help keep your capital at risk low but the spreads are a bit wide so this would need to move pretty far pretty fast in order for you to be right. But this stock had made pretty big moves. So you need to weigh your risk vs the probability of making money on the trade.

  • Bridget: @TunaHelper $BETR I have an alert set for $12.12. I really like that this stock is now above the 50MA on the daily and the 20MA on the weekly. I solid move above $12 would be a confirmation of phase 3 in my opinion. I would not wait for $17.20 but I would add at $13.40.
  • TunaHelper: @Bridget $BETR Good point. I think one could draw one of Dan's famous boxes, with the bottom around $9 and the top around $11.50. So, a move to $12.12 would be further confirmation of a breakout (per phase 3). Also, it would be breaking out of a zone which had 3 of the 4 highest volume days since the ipo (each > 5M volume). I like your idea.
  • Aragorn: @TunaHelper @Bridget $BETR I think you can take some now use a stop below todays low plus a bit more because the 8ema seems to be support. 11.63 previous pivot point one area of potential resistance the 100 ema is 11.20 so lets see how it trades around here. Maybe take a small position add above 11.63 and keep adding on the way up. I am not sure why it sold off so much yesterday, that was a good report from what I can see. No position but I am watching
  • TunaHelper: @Aragorn $BETR Yes, I see your point. The $11.63 candle makes sense and would be at the top of the Dan box. Also, It really isn't cratering today and seems to be stabilizing (now just going positive again for the day). I have to admit I have not been looking at IPOs - they had fallen off my radar bc I figured that the IPO strategy would be more challenged in a falling market. However, that made me miss $EDIT, which I know a few here have profited handsomely on recently.

I might do a video on these.
