- Docoof: #NewCryptoMiner — $BAC briefly discussed a bitcoin miner in a research note today, although it does not cover the company. The chart looks funky because the SPAC $GWAC became $CIFR via merger on August 30, 2021. From the $BAC note: $CIFR is a US-focused #bitcoin ($BTC) mining company that had its IPO in 2021 and is one of the largest public mining companies. Cipher began its 40MW wind-powered initial operations on February 24, 2022 with plans to expand meaningfully in 2022-2023. Cipher guides to $27.30/MWh 5Yr weighted average power prices on its current deployment plans and $42.81/terahash (TH) for its mining rigs (up from $38.58/TH in November), focused on the largest sources of operating and capital expenses, respectively.
