- SmallDogTrade: @dunsek you're right I was coming back to delete that post. I didn't like the tone I wrote either. Not constructive but sort of mean, not what I intended. I guess $GILD initiated a div probably due to them knowing the stock's performance will not be able to match their peers. We're probably seeing a rotation out of $GILD those who wanted stock performance, to those wanting yield. The other point I did not make was, we're only seeing inflation in food prices, and it appears there is some attack on the inflation of biopharm drugs. So if I had to choose a sector, biotech of grocer, i'd chose the grocer. Also look at $NGVC

With so much competition in health foods, especially EVEN grocery stores with "healthy" sections, this one is landing on hard soil... competitors include: $NGVC $KR $SFM, but this is not a "hot" group. Obviously $KR and $SFM look the best (turning up). Thanks for you input.

- dlh: $NGVC - be patient, let it work for you. Set a trailing stop if you are concerned about losing your profit but looks to go higher.
- philharmonic: $NGVC @peginwichita It's been in a high base for about 9 months and is now making new highs. Looks like a hold..
- dlh: $NGVC - as it gets further away from the moving averages (gets more extended) the risk of pullback increases. Zoom out the chart and look at the historical moves, watch it. Set a trailing stop as it gets extended. Dont try to pick the top, rarely works.
- Aragorn: $NGVC trading above one triangle line and traded above another on the daily chart and pulled back in. This is a nice pattern but today may be a shot term top way off the HOD. So protect with a stop I would say around 43 - a little below providing you have decent profits from a longer term position. GL

- rtomczak: @DAN - Thanks for the input. I am about 60% invested. 30% in core #yieldhogs with an average yield of 9.6% and 30% in $TRIP, $NGVC, $ABB, $DNKN, $BEAV, $FSLR, $HIMX and LEA. Looking to deploy the balance in $SPY when opportunity presents itself. The remaining 40% is in a MMF with Fidelity. I will check if I can specify cash.

- woodman: $NGVC - fourth day of higher low. It has retraced back up to, and ever so slightly above, the 50 day and is sitting on it right. It looks like a big W pattern with a higher second trough. It is still below the center of this W. Perhaps someone with a better understanding of W patters than I have can enlighten us as to what this pattern may be telling us.
