- Nepenthe: $APPS Positive earnings and jumped 18%. Whether it continues, who knows. Small position. Cheers.

- Nepenthe: $APPS Now up 55%. Selling some and keeping some. Average daily volume hovers around 5 million, now up over 50 million within a few hours. Something's going on. Weekly chart looks great and has eclipsed its Feb. high of 6.86. That's it for today. Cheers.

- Nepenthe: @mgoodw $APPS I figured it had something to do with earnings. I was out prior, jumped back in after hours and then added a bit this morning. Maybe this is the turnaround for the company, about which I know nothing other than it was at one point a darling of traders, reaching 100 before it plummeted. Cheers.
- Nepenthe: @nollid $GRRR I use Merrill, and it deems certain securities as too risky to trade, which fries me. To wit, $MSTX or $NVDL, they downright refuse, and others such as $APPS and $LNKCY I need a passcode for. Each broker has their own risk averse guidelines, perhaps. You might need to call them. That's all I've got. Cheers.
- Nepenthe: $APPS Sold all prior to 5/27 earnings (was also traveling so didn't want to risk it), only to see earnings moved to 6/3, then to 6/16. Well, if this latter date holds, may be earnings run? Heavier than average volume. NP, but may get back in. Up 15%. Cheers.

- Nepenthe: @kenb $APPS $APP I mentioned $APPS right after earnings. I hesitated to get in and have hesitated ever since. NP as well, but on the weekly chart, it looks like this could run quite a bit. I don't know what was in the earnings report to turn this around, but someone like it. Cheers.

- Nepenthe: $APPS Don't know what to tell you on this one other than after last quarter's earnings, there was massive volume for a week or so, then some selling on low volume (do I sound like Dan and Scott?), and today up over 18% on double the daily average volume. What that portends, can't say, other than it might be worth a look. And that's that, FWIW. Cheers.

The profits have obviously gone down drastically but most of them are still more than 100% profit since the time I purchased them under yr guidance :). Should I hold on to them or take the profits and then rebuy them on the swing up ?

- scottrades: @rythm $APPS I think you just want to watch how it trades in the first 30 minutes. Look for strong close intraday and make sure it doesn't sell off on the news. I would prefer something closer to the MAs and in a base to size in.
